Horizon Air prepares for new Prescott-to-LAX flights - Sun Shopper
Most prominent so far is the appearance of Prescott’s Watson Lake on the August cover of Horizon’session in-flight storehouse.

“We’re having a meeting to talk ready it Tuesday break of day,” related Bristol, after which she said more information would be available about the ribbon-cutting event.
Because Horizon has “code share” agreements with a compute of airlines, including American, Continental, KLM, Korean Air, and Northwest, Boyer said passengers with connecting flights on those airlines would be able to book their flights and check their bags all the way from Prescott to their ultimate destination.
And for passengers who are going upon to other Horizon flights, as well as those on Northwest, American, and Alaska, a bus would be available to take them to their new flights - all within the secure sunken space adjoining the basement - so passengers will not be seized of to avail from one side protection again.
Also in preparation for the new flights, the incorporated town has been working for months on new heedlessness measures at the Prescott Airport. City Manager Steve Norwood reported this past week that the improvements, which include a new 28-foot-by-76-foot modular building, are on schedule to be complete before Sept. 8.
The additional security is necessary because Horizon’s Q400 Bombardier airplanes will exist considerably larger than the 19-seat plain that is customary at the Prescott Airport. Boyer added that the 76-seat high-speed turboprop Bombardiers are a great quantity quieter than the turboprops with which sundry passengers likely are familiar.
Along with Horizon’sitting kick-off, Sept. 8 also is the start epoch for the return of Great Lakes Airlines, which will exist offering flights from Prescott to Phoenix, and to Ontario, Calif.
The Wyoming-based airline recently won the Essential Air Service subsidy contract to make provision the local service after the previous provider, Air Midwest, a subsidiary of Mesa Airlines, went out of business in May and left the local market.
